Our Classes

Barre Class

Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can. People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome, no dance experience is needed. There will be yoga mats and some 3 and 5 pounds weights available, but feel free to bring your own. Class times: T-Fri 9:30am; M and Th 6-7pm

Stretch, Tone and Balance Class

While stretching may not be the most exciting activity on the menu when it comes to exercise, it’s actually one of the most important factors in reaching our fitness goals. Stretching can reduce the odds of injury, fights stress and promotes anti-aging. Our mobility, due to more lengthened and supple muscle fibers, allows our body to stay in top shape for a longer period of time. The more we care for our muscles, the longer we can continue to workout and reap the health benefits of active living. This class will also include toning and balancing along with the stretching. There will be yoga mats and some 3 and 5 pounds weights available, but feel free to bring your own. Class times: T-Th 10:30-11:00am; Fri 10:30am; Mon and Th 7:00-7:30pm; Tue. and Wed. 6:00-6:30pm and Sat. 9:30-10:00.

Flexibility/Stretch Class

This class is geared towards athletes, but is great for anyone at any age and any level. Flexibility allows us to complete every day activities with ease, which declines as we age. Starting habits early is essential to life-long health. Flexibility training increases joint mobility, good posture, improves balance, and decreases back pain. Greater flexibility decreases risk of injury decreases soreness and stiffness in the muscles. If we want to be at our highest performance level, we need to be able to use the full length of our muscles in order to maximize full power and strength. If our muscles are not lengthened as they should be, athletes are not able to provide the explosive motions needed for various sport-specific movements. Class time: Tues. and Wed. 5:00pm-5:30pm.
